SUPPORT

PASTORAL CARE

Whatever you're facing in life, we would like to support you, because church is family, the family of God. Our family delights in sharing life's greatest moments, like baptisms and weddings, and we are also here for you when life gets tough.

Our Pastoral Care Team are available after each service on Sundays, and can arrange to visit you at home.

BEREAVEMENT CAFÉ

The Bereavement Café is a place where people can feel safe to talk about how their bereavement is affecting them and find others who have experienced their own loss, who understand something of what they are going through, and who will listen to them.

We have a team of trained volunteers and are blessed with a wonderful café space.

The Bereavement Café takes place in The Hub at St Paul's, on the second Monday of every month.

ANXIETY & DEPRESSION

This is a self-help support group for people suffering from anxiety or depression in which we learn from professionals.

Each session of this friendly and non-judgemental group includes a short talk, activities and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you. Professional and experienced speakers help us look at many aspects of anxiety and depression and at various ways of improving these conditions.

The course seeks to provide fresh perspectives in a supportive atmosphere but does not provide counselling or therapy.

NEW BEGINNINGS

New Beginnings is a divorce and separation course aiming to restore lives and act as an ongoing support group.

New Beginnings is for everyone who has suffered a broken relationship. The aim of the course is to help people come to terms with the past and make a fresh start in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. People come along who are at every stage, from not having made the split to having been separated many years but still working on some issues. Some people have been married and some not.
