EXPLORING ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION

This is a self-help support group for people suffering from anxiety or depression in which we learn from professionals.

Each session of this friendly and non-judgemental group includes a short talk, activities and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you. Professional and experienced speakers help us look at many aspects of anxiety and depression and at various ways of improving these conditions.

The course seeks to provide fresh perspectives in a supportive atmosphere but does not provide counselling or therapy.

This course will take place on 10 consecutive Wednesday evenings, and is free. We shall be meeting at 7:45pm and ending at 9:45pm. A 40-page resourcebook accompanies the course.

The next course starts on TBC

Frequently Asked Questions

I don’t think I could talk about it. Do I have to talk?
You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to. We provide a very safe space in which people can talk but it is always their choice.

Can I leave before the end of the course if I want to?
Yes, you can leave at any time and we will not chase you.

Do I have to go to church in order to come?
Not at all. We welcome everybody from any background. It is not a religious course in any way.

I can’t make all the sessions. Does that matter?
We know people have family and other commitments; just come to as many as you can. We can always send you the notes.
