St Mary’s Burgh Heath

 

 

We are a large evangelical charismatic church with two centres of worship and a combined average Sunday attendance of 735, based in NE Surrey. Originally a plant from St Paul ’s in 2002, St Mary’s now needs to further develop the mission of this local church where 80-90 people regularly attend. St Mary’s Coffee Shop is an integral part of the mission to the local community.

 

 

We are praying for a leader who is inspired by God with creative imagination and energy to help St Mary’s achieve the following priorities:

 

 

       - Encourage, empower and develop members to become more involved in the work of  the Church and to take on leadership roles

      - Become a more visible presence in the community by meeting people at their point of   need.

      - Reach out and engage with 16-40 year olds and those who have young families.

           

 

      - Disciple new believers through such activities as mentoring, Alpha (or other) courses, 

            and small groups.

We seek applicants who, under God, are able to focus and lead St Mary's to the next
level of growth as a key member of the senior leadership of the parish.

 

Housing is provided, located conveniently in the centre of the community.
