St Marys

St Mary's Burgh Heath

St Mary's Burgh Heath is our sister church within a combined parish. Many of our activities are shared across both churches. You can access the St Mary's website here.
St Mary's is a friendly and lively church for all ages meeting in a traditional church building that sits on the A217 in Burgh Heath, near Banstead. We are journeying together in getting to know Jesus better through his Word (the Bible) and his Spirit, corporately on a Sunday and throughout the week individually and in small groups.

Sunday Morning Services

We meet at 10:00 am every Sunday for an event called Sunday Morning Live! a blend of contemporary and traditional worship with a relevant talk from the Bible. Sunday Morning Live! is designed for the whole family. We want children of all ages to feel a welcome as part of the church family at St Mary’s.

We meet for a short (40 minute) all-age service followed by coffee, tea and cakes. You're then welcome to leave, or to stay and 'go deeper' with God through a number of streams each geared at different ways of exploring the Christian message. There is always one stream either specifically for children or otherwise one appropriate for all ages. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month the service includes a celebration of Holy Communion.

Activities Midweek

LIFE groups meet around the area, some weekly others fortnightly or monthly. They are an opportunity to study the Bible together and to share the ups and downs of life together.

A busy Toddler Group meets 10am on Thursdays in term time.

Various events take place at the 'Meeting Place' which you will find in the Arcade at Burgh Heath, including the Tea Club. We also run a Book Club, and 'Walkie Talkies', an informal walking group. There's Thirsty Thursday, a monthly men's group that meets in the pub, and Time Out for ladies. LIFE Together is our termly get together of the whole church family for food and fellowship.
