St Paul's has a passion for the young, and runs an exciting program for school years 7-13 called FUEL. We meet weekly to journey through life, build friendships, and explore the big questions facing all young people.
FUEL Sunday 6:30-8pm (Club Room open from 5pm)
On Sunday evenings, School Years 7-13 meet together to worship, discuss, and delve into who God is and what it means to be a Christian. We meet almost every Sunday of the year. We open the Club Room every Sunday at 5:00pm to allow the youth to come early, play on the Xbox with some friends, gather round the table for a game of spoons or snap, share a meal as a small group or just relax and talk. Then when the 6:30@St. Paul’s service starts we can all head down and join them as one community. We then break out to our separate youth service for teaching, worship and small groups.

FUEL LIFE Groups - Thursday Evenings
On Thursday evenings we run LIFE groups for those years 7-9 we meet from 6-7pm and for those years 10-13 we meet from 7-8:30pm the groups meet in sizes from about 6-12 to go deeper into different topics and aspects about faith, God, and what it means to be a Christian. We also play games and have a good social time too! Additionally, we open up the new HUB space and Northey Hall from 6-9pm so that youth can come early or hang around after LIFE groups to talk, play games, do some revising or kick around a football.
If any youth are interested in joining please email us or show up on a Thursday to see what LIFE groups are all about.
Events & Trips
We run socials, worship & prayer events, weekends away, summer camps and lots more throughout the year. Check back on the website or email us to be added to the parents weekly email to stay up to date on all the amazing things going on at FUEL.
Throughout the year, we run several community events including Nerf nights, girl’s nights, and a small group bowling night. These events will range from a small group choosing to do something together all the way up to large events for all the youth and their friends. Our hope is that these events will help the youth grow as a community and provide a fun, comfortable way for them to invite their friends to church. Just a few of the new ideas in the coming year include, overnight lock-ins, world cup nights, a trip to the beach, and much more! Stay tuned to the youth emails for more details.
Sundae Sundays - 4th Sunday of the month during the 10am service
A casual conversation into different areas of the Bible. We start out in the main arena for worship and then head out with the children’s groups. We meet upstairs in the upper lounge and start out with a sundae (or other delicious treat) and then have some great conversation for the rest of the service time.
Parentalk - The Teenage Years
We are launching a course for parents of teenagers (or soon to be). It is a free six-week course starting Tuesday 3 October at 8pm (refreshments from 7:45pm). Click here to find out more and to book your place.
